摘要: Tradeable water entitlement (TWE) policies and laws in South Australia, Victoria, New Wales are very different, reflecting the local economic, geographical, historical circumstances. Such introspectivity is not uncommon, but resource development it creates particular problems. Prior to involvement by Council of Australian Governments 1994, no attempts have been made consider other nearby jurisdictions. Recently, federal government as well Murray-Darling Basin Commission pushing for more interstate cooperation these matters create conditions viable markets. The Ministerial has funded a limited trial transfers among three states take effect 1997. This chapter will discuss this introspective legacy TWE allocation their implications wider application Some ways overcoming also be considered, environmental social ramifications enlarged TWE.
