摘要: Summary Hereditary Fever Syndromes The etiology of recurrent fever is often difficult to assess. It includes neoplasias, infections, or systemic inflammatory disorders. In addition, hereditary periodic syndromes exist such as familial mediterranean (FMF), which predominantly found among immigrants in Germany. addition hyper-IgD and syndrome (HIDS) tumour necrosis factor receptor-associated (TRAPS), may affect North Central Europeans. Until recently, used be diagnosed by exclusion only, following more less invasive clinical investigations. During the past years, causative genetic variants have been identified, DNA-based diagnostic tests were developed. Thus, than 1 000 FMF suspects subjected testing at Bernhard Nocht Institute since 1998, 38 per cent turned out positive. First data on HIDS TRAPS show unexpectedly high proportions twelve 13 positive results, respectively.
