摘要: Summary Objectives  Little is known regarding the distribution and determinants of leptin adiponectin levels in general population. Design  Cross-sectional study. Patients  Women (3004) men (2552) aged 35–74 living Lausanne, Switzerland. Measurements  Plasma (ELISA measurement). Results  had higher than men. In both genders, increased with age. After adjusting for fat mass, were significantly negatively associated age women: 18·1 ± 0·3, 17·1 ± 0·3, 16·7 ± 0·3 15·5 ± 0·4 ng/ml (adjusted mean ± SE) groups [35–44], [45–54], [55–64] [65–75], respectively, P < 0·001. A similar but nonsignificant trend was also found Conversely, age-related increase unrelated to body genders. Post-menopausal women premenopausal women, independently hormone replacement therapy. Although mass adiponectin, associations stronger index (BMI), waist hip Finally, after anthropometry, no relationships between or alcohol, caffeine consumption physical activity, whereas smoking diabetes decreased only. Conclusions  The attributable changes probably Leptin are more related BMI mass. effects appear be gender-specific.
