摘要: In order to prevent a wireless node from corrupting other on-going transmissions, IEEE 802.11 medium access control (MAC) allows the channel only if is determined be idle. However, this rule sometimes can lead extremely low transmission opportunities (i.e. starvation) of nodes owing unfair carrier sensing induced by complex properties communication such as hidden/exposed-node topologies, asymmetric conditions, and environmental factors. To share resource fairly, thus it necessary for detect starvation mitigate it. paper we propose novel detection technique that identify whether in flow-in-the-middle (FIM) state exploiting physical energy mechanism implemented basically devices. addition, present simple strategy starvation. We show effectiveness our scheme via extensive simulations. The results demonstrate recognizes alleviates effectively.
