摘要: The recent recognition of the sleep apnea syndrome has forced a re-evaluation mechanism hypercapnia and disordered respiratory control in obese patients. Thirteen patients with were studied an attempt to relate pattern abnormality awake ventilatory presence chronic hypercapnia. Patients and/or hypoxemia had reduced responses hypercapnic hypoxic stimulation, respectively. hypercapnia, however, did not separate respect type, duration, or frequency apneas. degree chemical drives could be related severity phenomenon. However, intact demonstrated augmented ventilation after apneas, which may explain their eucapnic state.
