摘要: To develop efficient and stable visible-light-driven (VLD) photocatalysts for pollutant degradation, we synthesized novel heterojunction comprised of AgI nanoparticle-decorated Ag2WO4 nanorods via a facile method. Various characterization techniques, including XRD, SEM, TEM, EDX, UV-vis DRS were used to investigate the morphology optical properties as-prepared AgI/Ag2WO4 catalyst. With acting as cocatalyst, resulting heterostructure shows excellent performance in degrading toxic, pollutants such rhodamine B (RhB), methyl orange (MO) para-chlorophenol (4-CP). The high is attributed enhanced visible-light absorption promoted separation efficiency charge carriers through formation between Ag2WO4. Additionally, exhibits durable stability. active species trapping experiment reveals that (O2•- h+) dominantly contribute RhB degradation. photocatalyst characterized this work holds great potential remedying environmental issues due its simple preparation method photocatalytic performance.
