摘要: Parkinson’s disease, the most common movement disorder, is characterized by nerve cell loss in substantia nigra and other brain regions presence of filamentous α-synuclein inclusions bodies processes (also known as Lewy neurites). Similar define body dementias, well a number other, less neurodegenerative diseases. Some inherited forms disease dementias are caused missense mutations gene or overproduction wild-type α-synuclein, establishing that dysfunction sufficient to cause dementias.
