摘要: Pentraxin 3 (PTX3) and nuclear factor-like 2 (Nrf2) are known to induce tumor progression in certain malignancies but act as suppressors other human neoplasms. In this study, we not only tested the association between PTX3 expression World Health Organization (WHO) grading system also evaluated overall patient survival under variable of Nrf2 primary brain tumors (PBTs). Immunohistochemistry (IHC) was performed for 10 nonneoplastic tissues 197 PBTs. IHC scores were calculated degree cytoplasmic staining intensity multiplied by percentage positively stained tissue area. The correlation grades well time analyzed Pearson product-moment Kaplan–Meier estimate. According our results, showed a positive with WHO gliomas meningiomas. addition, observed that higher associated poor prognosis concordance immunohistochemistry using linear regression analysis. When compared groups high either one or both biomarkers, low significantly better prognosis. conclusion, demonstrated implied aggressive behavior shorter glioma patients. results immunohistochemical could imply longer time. Therefore, combination lower may be important offering gliomas, although detailed mechanism is yet elucidated.
