摘要: Abstract Road networks play a vital role in maintaining functioning modern society. Many events perceptibly affect the transport supply along these networks, especially natural disasters such as floods, landslides, and earthquakes. Contrary to more common disruptions of traffic from accidents, or maintenance closures, are capable destroying large numbers roads usually cover vast areas. When evaluating network damage no single measure alone is able describe full extent destruction. In this study, we investigated six highly damaging disasters, which occurred Czech Republic between 1997 2010. They were all induced by extreme rainfall rapid snowmelt resulted floods landslides. Their impacts evaluated with respect road decreased serviceability. For mutual comparison their analysis used several criteria, described paper, related economic impacts, physical harm individuals infrastructures, effects on connectivity We also introduced new based efficiency index takes into account importance nodes population. Moreover, provide detailed one event July that significantly affected Zlin region.
