摘要: Antioxidants present in the diet may have a significant effect on prophylaxis and progression of various diseases associated with oxidative stress. Berries contain range chemical compounds antioxidant properties, including phenolic compounds. The aim this review article is to provide an overview current knowledge such antioxidants, discuss whether these always be natural gifts for human health, based both vitro vivo studies. It describes properties fresh berries (including aronia berries, grapes, blueberries, sea buckthorn strawberries other berries) their products, especially juices wines. Some papers report that sometimes behave like prooxidants, demonstrate prooxidant activity, while others note they do not same way vivo. However, no unwanted or toxic effects (i.e., chemical, hematological urinary effect) been consumption berry extracts, products vivo, vitro, which suggest antioxidants found are health. compound content well described, further studies required determine therapeutic doses different use future clinical Moreover, experiments needed understand beneficial reported so far from mechanistic point view. Therefore, greater attention should paid development well-controlled high-quality area.
