摘要: All true pterygiums are attracted to a specific site at the corneoscleral junction along 3 9 o'clock meridian. The pathogenesis of pinguecula-pterygium is postulated be due noninfected inflammation conjunctival blood vessels and Bowman's membrane where autolytic process results in protein degradation amino acid mixture which has ability attracting on cornea. This mix hypothesized contain pterygium angiogenesis factor.
