Determinants for the Attraction of Urban Dairy Farm Investment in Mekelle City, Ethiopia

摘要: This study addressed the urban dairy farm investments in Mekelle city, Tigray Regional State, Ethiopia. Its main objective was to analyze factors for investment attraction city. Quantitative primary data collected through structured questionnaire from a sample of 59 farmers selected by using proportionate simple random sampling. Analysis conducted ordinal logistic regression model. Thus, age, year experience, access finance, health care service, training, distance, infrastructure and governmental policy were found be statistically significant determinants attraction. Therefore, government other stakeholders should motivate investors giving training on business issues; arrange trade fares, forums exhibitions experience sharing; address prevailing finance problems, challenges, inputs, among others Finally, future researchers are suggested carry out large scale in-depth studies identify affecting overall  attractiveness part region there develop appropriate strategies development investment.
