摘要: We have utilized phosphorus nuclear magnetic resonance, which provides an excellent means of characterizing the physical state lipids, to investigate polymorphic phase behavior pure dielaidoylphosphatidylethanolamine (DEPE). observed a sharp isotropic component in typical bilayer and inverted hexagonal P-31 NMR spectra. This appears spectra both lipid phases after several cycles through bilayer-to-hexagonal transition. The magnitude increased as function number appearance this was not time at constant temperature, but only is stable all temperatures above gel-to-liquid crystal transition, it abruptly disappears when cooled below It suggested that similar dioleoylphosphatidylethanolamine (DOPE) by x-ray diffraction identified cubic (Shyamsunder, E., S. M. Gruner, W. Tate, D. C. Turner, P. T. So, Tilcock. 1988. Biochemistry. 27:2332–2336).
