Effect of Accessibility and Utilization of Electronic Information Resources on Productivity of Academic Staff in Selected Nigerian Universities

摘要: The aim of the paper was to investigate effect accessibility and utilization electronic resources on productivity academic staff in Nigerian universities. A survey method used study, with a questionnaire as instrument for data collection. Responses from 324 out 586 that were surveyed analysis. Correlation analysis showed that, there positive correlation between respondents (r=0.135; p=0.015). This implies increase access use e-resources will lead among at Similar result obtained when hypothesis tested international level r=0.158 p=0.004. In other words, e- research frequently publish more articles journals than those who do not. It recommended view observed impact survey; university managements, librarians, National Universities Commission (NUC) stakeholders universities should intensify process effective information communication technology (ICT) diffusion provision relevant towards qualitative research. also make be globally competitive journal space journals, thus bridge gap Nigeria developed countries.
