摘要: Abstract The first and main step of the HCLL (helium cooled lithium lead) blanket fuel cycle consists tritium extraction from liquid breeder. In DEMO reactor a dedicated system, called TES (tritium system), will be devoted to accomplish this task. Different technologies, belonging families gas–liquid contactors, getters permeators have been studied in last years, some them mainly theoretically, others with much more experimental effort. Gas–liquid which experimentally studied, showed contradictory results. Plate, spray bubble columns resulted very low-extraction efficiency. On contrary, packed gave better results, although doubts arise about accuracy experiments performed past. However, seem most attractive technology for reason was decided further optimisation testing their performances. order task, facility TRIEX extraction) designed built is now available ENEA-Brasimone. efficiency different tested systematic way paying particular attention hydrogen monitoring system gas metal phase. design instrumentation facility, as well operating modes planned campaign are presented paper.
