摘要: In order to study the effect of spark plasma sintering (SPS) technique synthesis SiC–MgB2 on phase formation, MgB2 and bulks were fabricated with mixed powders by various SPS routes. The formation processes investigated aid X-ray diffraction analysis, TEM investigations theories. solid–solid reaction between Mg B formed at low temperature. As temperature increases, reactions molten form MgB2, simultaneously, promotes decomposition SiC nuclei Mg2Si may surface grains; nascent incorporates carbon into lattice, hereby enhancing decomposition. experimental results are in good agreement assumed chemical reaction.
