摘要: There have been many animal studies on the effects of organophosphorus pesticide (OP) poisoning thermoregulation with inconsistent results. no prospective human studies. Our aim was to document changes in body temperature OP poisoning. A study conducted a rural hospital Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. We collected data sequential patients and analyzed 12 selected from 53 presentations who had overt signs symptoms not received atropine prior arrival. All subsequently specific management and/or pralidoxime general supportive care. Tympanic temperature, ambient heart rate, clinical examination interventions were recorded prospectively throughout their hospitalization. Initial hypothermia as low 32°C observed untreated patients. increased over time an early ( 38°C at some later point). While late high temperatures occurred setting marked tachycardia, it also apparent that cases fever accompanied by making excessive or severe infection unlikely explanation for all fevers. In humans, causes initial hypothermia, this is followed period normal temperature. Atropine respiratory complications may contribute but do account cases.
