摘要: In this research, ethylene polymerization was carried out in the presence of different additives (ZnCl2, SiCl4, and combined ZnCl2-SiCl4) on TiCl4/MgCl2/THF catalytic system. The ZnCl2-SiCl4 mixtures showed higher activity when compared with single Lewis acids, ZnCl2, or SiCl4. modified catalyst demonstrated highest activity, which more than three times system without acid modification. enhanced can be attributed to reduction peak intensity MgCl2/THF complexes compounds as proven by XRD. This reasonable because some THF removal from structure compounds. addition effect modification partial elimination THF, activities could increased due titanium atoms that have been locally concentrated surface seen energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy measurement. On basis situ electron spin resonance measurement, mixed metal chlorides (ZnCl2-SiCl4) promote amount Ti3+after triethylaluminum. It revealed is very useful for polymerization. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. Sci. 130: 1588–1594,
