摘要: The current study investigated the influence of encoding modality and cue-action relatedness on prospective memory (PM) performance in young older adults using a modified version Virtual Week task. Participants encoded regular irregular intentions either verbally or by physically performing action during encoding. For half there was close semantic relation between retrieval cue intended action, while for remaining were semantically unrelated. tasks, both age groups showed superior PM related compared to unrelated conditions. While retrieved fewer than after verbal encoding, no difference following enactment. Possible mechanisms enactment effects are discussed context theories event-based PM.
