摘要: Abstract Rats infected with 5000 Nippostrongylus brasiliensis larvae each, lose the infection almost completely in 20 days. This “self-cure” is due to an immune response on part of host. By transferring adult worms surgically passively immunized and normal rats, it has been shown that humoral antibody important interfering establishment parasites. Protective serum no immediate lethal effect N. vitro nor does immediately inhibit O2 uptake parasite when measured by Warburg's Direct Method. With aid Cr51 labeled erythrocytes, not consume whole blood any significant quantity. It considered antibody, against parasite, may be protective because its role local anaphylaxis rather than direct actions worms.
