摘要: In tests with sheep red blood cells as antigen, both poly A and A·poly U (= polyA:U) stimulated the appearance of antibody-forming mouse spleen under in vitro conditions, A:U being more potent than A. High concentrations single- or double-stranded polynucleotides were less effective low concentrations, very high inhibited responses. Pretreatment prior to cultivation produced good better responses did incorporation into medium, but such pretreatment was ineffective when A:U-treated subsequently exposed trypsin. Lymphocytes, rather macrophages, seem be principal targets stimulation. The modification antibody formation can attributed an alteration cyclic AMP-mediated events, particularly since cAMP itself well supplementation theophylline (a known stabilizer levels) increase number that activated presence a given amount antigen.
