摘要: This paper presents different approaches proposed to evaluate eddy-current losses in hairpin wound motor fed by pulse width modulated inverter, underlining strengths and weaknesses of everyone applying them, as test-case, a 200kW induction designed for premium electric vehicle. The first three are based on the finite element analysis: first, more accurate one, use transient analysis that request long execution time high memory usage, second is tool permits rapidly steady state conditions imposing sinewave current third uses single-slot simplified model. The fourth approach proposes rapid monodimensional analytic method hypotheses permit consider superposition effects Eddy-Current Losses every harmonic component. fifth makes leveraging investigation content due modulation lumped parameter model. In addition, discusses important considerations about technology can be drawn from obtained results
