摘要: Oscillations of ectoplasmic contraction in plasmodia the myxomycetePhysarum polycephalum growing on agar containing semidefined medium were studied to determine if contractile force is altered during synchronous mitosis. In interphase regular oscillations plasmodial sheet had an average period 0.93 minutes at 24 °C. During mitosis amplitude these gradually decreased, ceasing for time 2.7 74% 23 studied. Cessation oscillating contractions was accompanied by a decrease width channels embedded sheet, and velocity endoplasmic shuttle streaming usually complete standstill. Of 13 which mitotic stage very accurately determined, stop occurred metaphase 10 plasmodia, prometaphase, anaphase, telophase 3 others. The cessation or did not occur absolutely simultaneously widely separated locations within one plasmodium, indicating asynchrony over few each plasmodium. We suggest that halt migration reported others caused slightly different times areas plasmodium resulting overall lack coordination flow throughout thus temporarily halting migration. Possible physiological mechanisms linking actomyosin with are discussed.
