摘要: Objectives. This study was aimed at determining the knowledge and acceptability of HPV vaccine among women attending gynaecology clinics Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). Methods. a descriptive cross-sectional involving 148 consecutively selected clinic LUTH. Relevant information obtained from these using an interviewer-administered questionnaire. The data analysed then presented by simple statistics tables charts. Chi-square were used to test association between sociodemographical variables acceptance vaccination. All significance values reported . Results. mean age respondents years. showed that 36.5% had heard about infection while only 18.9% existence vaccines. Overall, 81.8% accepted vaccines could be administered their teenage girls with level education mothers being major determinant ( ). Conclusions. Awareness infections is low. However, generally high.
