摘要: Abstract A method for diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis (BV) and other vaginal infections, based on measurement biogenic amines present in a sample fluid by ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) was developed. Sample introduction is through two step procedure: addition alkaline solution to release the volatile followed heating acid emanation semi-volatile amines. Addition n-nonylamine vapors carrier gas stream helps control ionization processes enhances selective response amines, even complex environment biological matrices. software package developed acquisition, storage processing spectra providing table rules. We report results from testing 210 samples discharge that were diagnosed gynecologist according widely used reference (Amsel test) new IMS method. The rapid (less than 2 min per sample), has high sensitivity (few False Negatives) specificity Positives) with an accuracy >95% BV. use this can reduce incidence misdiagnosis, particularly when trichomoniasis confused vaginosis.
