摘要: Surfactant protein B is a small homodimeric that found tightly associated with surfactant lipids in the alveolar space. In this review, we discuss actions of SP-B on phospholipid membranes using information predominantly obtained from model membrane systems. We try to correlate these current concepts structure and proposed biological functions. These functions may include critical roles intracellular assembly through role lamellar body organogenesis, structural rearrangement secreted into tubular myelin, subsequent rapid insertion phospholipids surface film itself. The relevance human biology emphasized by fatal respiratory distress genetic deficiency important certain exogenous formulations wide clinical use.
