摘要: Anthropogenic climate change presents a major threat to all levels of biodiversity – from populations ecosystems. Threatened species and ecological communities are particularly at risk because they generally possess characteristics that increase their vulnerability extinction. Here we review the conservation assessments 414 threatened 108 in state New South Wales (NSW) Australia, explore extinction risk. We found only 13% 24% have identified as threat. Amphibians had highest proportion with (37%), followed by mammals (25%), birds (17%), reptiles (15%) plants (10%). The sample sizes freshwater algae marine were too small be considered. listed predominately associated wet montane habitats, highlighting these environments. estimates NSW likely highly conservative. suggest adaptation strategies incorporated into management, management plans landscape level management.
