π Echo-Planar Imaging with concomitant field compensation for porous media MRI

摘要: Abstract The π Echo Planar Imaging (PEPI) method was modified to compensate for concomitant magnetic fields by waveform symmetrization. Samples with very short T 2 ∗ (a few hundred microseconds) and (tens of milliseconds hundreds milliseconds) were investigated. spacings as 1.2 ms achieved the gradient pre-equalization method, enabling rapid 3D imaging relaxation time species sub-millimeter resolution. PEPI yields superior quality images, compared Fast Spin (FSE) significantly reduced duty cycle. Accelerated measurements a variable number centric interleaves are presented. Restricted k -space sampling demonstrated specific sample geometries, notably Locharbriggs sandstone core plug, acquisition further reduced. These methods generate proton density weighted images considering echo ratio. principally designed studies fluid saturation in rock plugs, evolving due some manner external perturbation, such water flooding.
