摘要: This paper describes how morphometric classification (based on openness, form, depth and size) Geographic Information Systems (GIS) can be used for possible identification of coastal areas sensitive to pollution. Generalized maps key water properties are then created as large parts Europe using amounts empirical data. These give an overview the general spatial pattern presented offer highly polluted areas. They also provide input reference data two dynamic ecosystem models (CoastWeb CoastMab) suitable in-depth studies individual or regions. A modeling case study eutrophication is illustrate that these may practically applied simulations related response ecosystems various remedial scenarios only in system generalized maps.
