摘要: In the postwar decades, a cultural construction of Japan as “New Middle Class” society has gained broad orienting force in society. New typifications work, family, and have provided frames reference for redefinition reorganization everyday routines. This paper illustrates how people one region come to terms with such midst state programs rationalization its agriculture national media efforts sentimentalize regional culture. Rationalization nostalgia are shown reveal fundamental ambivalences about lifeways contemporary japan.
