摘要: Objectives Several neurotransmitters involved in brain development are altered fragile X syndrome (FXS), the most common monogenic cause of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Serotonin plays a vital role synaptogenesis and postnatal development. Deficits serotonin synthesis abnormal neurogenesis were shown young children with autism, suggesting that treating within first years life selective reuptake inhibitor might be effective time. In this study we aimed to identify molecular biomarkers serotonergic pathway could predict response sertraline treatment FXS.
