摘要: Numerical simulation is carried out and the distribution of flow field properties obtained for nonequilibrium in a constrictor‐type 20 kW arc‐heated wind tunnel. In arc heater, plasma highly discharge plays critical role. The described by Navier‐Stokes equations with multi‐temperature model. are solved governing equation electric being coupled. Furthermore, to validate present numerical model, solutions compared corresponding experimental data. characteristics e.g., charge supersonic expansion, become clear through simulation. Moreover, computed results heater indicate almost full dissociation/ionization reactions thermochemical equilibrium constrictor part, while strong clearly appears nozzle section.
