摘要: We introduce a version of dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC), in which the transparent electrode comprises an opened-end TiO2-nanotube (TiNT) film oriented perpendicular to fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) conductive glass. This is fabricated using facile process involving flaking anodic TiNT off Ti-metal substrate open its closed bottom and strongly adhering it onto FTO glass by nanocrystalline TiO2 (NP-TiO2) thin underlayer. Apart from enhanced light-harvesting electron-collecting efficiencies, use allows redox electrolyte (iodide, I− triiodide, I3−) easy access NP-TiO2 As compared closed-end TiNT-based DSSC, device exhibited increase one-sun efficiency 5.3% 9.1%, corresponding 70% enhancement.
