Vertical-coupling optical interface for on-chip optical interconnection

摘要: We present a vertical-coupling optical interface with grating coupler for transmitting and receiving signals between single-mode fibers microphotonic waveguides view to realize on-chip interconnection. The consisting of simple structure reflective mirror an power combiner exhibits high coupling efficiency wide tolerance range the misalignment fibers. even if input is almost vertical chip surface.
