摘要: Abstract The HoFeO3 and HoFe0.8Sc0.2O3 nanoparticle samples were prepared by the solution combustion method using a mixture of fuels as carbamide glucose. Their structural, electronic magnetic properties are studied. XRD study confirmed that single-phased had Pbnm orthorhombic structure. partial substitutions Fe3+ ions Sc3+ with larger ionic radii resulted in growth lattice parameters. surface morphology was examined scanning electron microscopy. XPS data both iron scandium trivalent. However, holmium found to be trivalent only sample nominal composition HoFeO3. processing for indicated Ho2+ Ho3+ states ratio 0.45/0.55. Mossbauer showed state. About 10% local environment coordination number 4. Collecting spectra temperature range 14–723K allowed estimating phase transition temperatures (TM) samples. TM values 640K 385K HoFe0.8Sc0.2O3.
