摘要: The Inhibitor of Apoptosis proteins (IAPs) are a family that mainly known for their anti-apoptotic activity and ability to directly bind inhibit caspases. Recent research has however revealed they have extensive roles in governing numerous other cellular processes. IAPs modulate ubiquitin (Ub)-dependent signaling pathways through E3 ligase influence activation nuclear factor κB (NF-κB). In this review, we discuss the involvement individual hallmarks cancer current status therapies targeting these critical proteins.
