摘要: Despite the suggestions of its pectic composition, no clear evidence for this has been presented. Here we show occurrence such a structure in walls cells from cotyledons Hymenaea courbariI L. These are known to accumulate large amounts storage xyloglucan wall and, case, protuberances seem contain polysaccharide rather than pectin. A hypothetical sequence events leading strands was assembled based on scanning electron microscopy observations. On basis, tentative model how polysaccharides distributed into wall, near regions where found, is proposed explain presence their composition.
