摘要: A cDNA for the human "peripheral-type" benzodiazepine receptor (PBR) was isolated from a liver library. The 851-nucleotide probe hybridized with approximately 1 kb mRNA in Northern blots of RNA extracted various tissues and cell lines. PBR to DNA somatic hybrid mapping panel determine that gene maps chromosome 22. With regional 22, we localized within band 22q13.31. ligand-binding properties expressed were examined transient expression experiments compared endogenous PBR. ligand [3H]PK 11195 had high affinity COS-1 cells, but affinities pair isoquinoline propanamide enantiomers differed remarkably These findings reveal host and/or post-translational modification may have an important influence on function.
