摘要: Childhood coronary sclerosis was studied histologically, histochemically immunohistochemically and biochemically on 60 autopsy cases aged from new-born to 20 years. Intimal thickening often started even in the newborn babies particularly at branching or bending points of arteries, where fibrocellular proliferation with acid mucopolysaccharide accumulation main histological feature. Microthrombi were occasionally demonstrated infants, fatty streaks appeared generally second decade. usually smaller fewer than streaks. Betalipoprotein fibrinogen infiltrations into intima proven some cases. Mural vascularization observed especially areas beneath intimal thickening. Pressure effect blood stream anatomically specific arteries seemed be important as initial factors sclerosis, plasma constituents might pass an easier manner intimas by increased permeability. Secondarily mural capillaries play role developing atheromas which would produce eccentrically located luminal obstruction later adulthood, local circulatory disturbances within arterial walls.
