摘要: Abstract An anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) study on three sediment cores taken from the Korea Deep Ocean Study (KODOS) area in eastern Pacific was carried out to understand relationship between fabric patterns and paleo-depositional conditions deep-sea sediments. Most AMS measurements reveal normal sedimentary indicating a stable sedimentation mode. However, some intervals show deformed (magnetic lineation), this anomalous is mainly observed at boundary where color changes. The abrupt change parameters provides evidence that linear induced by input intensified bottom currents. Based trend microfossil occurrences, it interpreted discontinuous formed hiatus Tertiary Quaternary age. topmost coincides with time prevailed antarctic water (AABW) activity. In study, properties are shown be useful tools for making inferences concerning paleoenvironment abyssal basins.
