摘要: Abstract The recent article in this journal of Cerri et al. (2016) gives estimates greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for cattle production on extensively managed farms the State Mato Grosso, Brazil. results are expressed as GHG emission per kg animal herd, and not product. These should be referred to “carbon footprints” they do reflect estimate utilized 1 kg or carcass, but total mass animals whether calves, heifers, steers mature bulls cows. This leads a large under-estimation true Brazilian beef.
