摘要: Activation of cytokine receptor-associated Janus kinases (JAKs) mediates most, if not all, the cellular responses to peptide hormones and cytokines. Consequently, JAKs play a paramount role in homeostasis immunity. Members this family tyrosine control cytokine/hormone-induced alterations cell gene expression program. This function is largely mediated through an ability signal towards activation transducer activator transcription proteins (STAT) as well some other pathways. Importantly, are also instrumental tightly controlling associated hormone receptors, and, accordingly, regulating sensitivity these cytokines hormones. review highlights enzymatic non-enzymatic mechanisms regulation discusses importance ambidextrous nature JAK key signaling node that integrates combining functions forward eliminative signaling. Attention latter aspect may contribute emancipating our approaches pharmacologic modulation JAKs.
