摘要: Abstract Various weight percentages of titanium nitride (TiN) and thermally-treated (tt-TiN) are incorporated into the binder-free TiO 2 films, prepared at low temperature (LT, 120 °C), corresponding dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) made. Effects their incorporation on photovoltaics DSSCs studied. With 0.125 wt% TiN in a film only 5.5 μm-thickness, solar-to-electricity conversion efficiency ( η ) has reached to 3.40% from 2.38% cell with bare same thickness; this increase is attributed higher electron conductivity longer life time TiN. Incorporation 1.0 wt% tt-TiN further improved 3.77%; enhancement partial due thermal treatment (450 °C). X-ray diffraction (XRD) scanning microscopy (SEM) used study . Other explanations supported by data UV-absorption spectra, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), laser-induced photo-voltage transients.
