摘要: This article demonstrates the synthesis and characterization of novel organotin(IV) carboxylate complexes their medicinal applications. Metal organometallic compounds have growing importance in medicine, particularly oncology. Organotin derivatives caught much attention during last two decades for potential biocidal activities. In recent years several organotin been synthesized, some with interesting cytotoxic properties. Here we will focus on relevance as very promising candidates anticancer therapy. Ten new were synthesized characterized by using FT-IR, NMR (1H, 13C 119Sn), elemental analysis, mass spectrometry single crystal X-ray techniques. The results infrared spectroscopy sodium salt showed that coordination took place through oxygen atoms group. Crystallographic data 1 3 tin has a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry three alkyl groups plane equatorial plane. case complex 4 is tetrahedral due to steric hindrance bulky phenyl groups. screened vitro antiproliferative activity against lung carcinoma (H-157) kidney fibroblast (BHK-21) cell lines revealed significant activity. They also tested antileishmanial promastigote form leishmania major exhibited IC50 value 0.98 ± 0.06 μM (Compound 10) compared amphotericin B (IC50 0.29 0.05 μM). act potent intercalator SS-DNA insert themselves into nitrogenous bases DNA resulting hypochromism bathochromic shift.
