Relação entre infecção pelo helicobacter pylori linhagem cagA-positiva e risco de câncer gástrico

摘要: Introducao: O câncer gastrico e a segunda causa mais comum de mortes relacionadas neoplasia no mundo. Apesar o Helicobacter pylori ser classificado como um carcinogeno grupo I, presenca dessa infeccao nao fator que, isoladamente, possa levar ao desenvolvimento gastrico, sendo entre as possiveis justificativas, esta existencia diferentes linhagens com graus virulencia. Material metodos: Foram pareados, por sexo idade, 29 pacientes adenocarcinoma distal 58 submetidos endoscopia digestiva alta, cujo diagnostico fosse gastrico. Em todos os pacientes, foi pesquisado status da (atraves teste urease, histopatologico PCR para genes ureA 16S-rRNA), alem determinacao do linhagem cagApositiva gene cagA). Resultados: A porcentagem identica nos dois grupos (68,9%). Quando avaliamos pelo cagA-positiva, verificamos que frequencia desta significativamente alta caso, quando comparado controle, ocorrendo em 62,1% 29,3% desses, respectivamente (OR=3,95; IC 95% 1,543-10,096). Ao avaliarmos apenas pylori-positivos, tambem elevada caso (90%), controle (42,5%) (OR=12,18; 2,71-52,9). Conclusoes: Existe associacao distal, independente pylori.%%%%Background: Gastric cancer is the second most common cause of related death worldwide.
