摘要: The peptide hormone GHRH is synthesized in and released from neurosecretory cells the hypothalamic arcuate nuclei. acts on pituitary somatotroph to stimulate synthesis secretion of GH (1–4). actions are opposed by those somatostatin, a origin that suppress growth secretion; together, somatostatin thought be predominant mediators neural control production (5,6). Although potent synthetic nonpeptide secretagogs have been identified (7,8) receptor binds compounds has cloned (9), no endogenous ligands activate through this identified.
