摘要: BACKGROUND: Primary care is computerized with routine data recorded at the point or care. Secondary use of these includes: genetic study, epidemiology and clinical trials. However, there are relatively few international studies. OBJECTIVE: To identify concepts that might predict readiness to collaborate in research using routinely collected primary METHOD: Literature review gathering exercise, from Care Informatics working group workshops, email modified Delphi exercise. RESULTS: establish whether fit for a collaborative study information needed micro-, meso-, macro-level. At micro- level we need documented standards interoperability, records, facilitate linkage data. meso-level understand nature electronic patient record (EPR) specific requirements. macro-level: health system, social cultural context constrain what available. The framework defines expression interest, joining study. initial assessment should be by self-assessment followed an depth appraisal more immediately prior start Finally, sensitivity analysis conducted test robustness model. CONCLUSIONS: literature focuses on technical issues: EPR modeling; workshops socio-cultural organizational. This will form basis developing survey instrument collaboration research.
