摘要: This article investigates the extent to which existing workplaces assist women balance employment and elder care responsibilities. Two sources of data are used in this article. Interview 246 who caregivers elderly kin work 37 Nova Scotia, Canada analyzed obtain employee's perception policy. In addition, content analysis 80 policy documents these is conducted. Findings reveal a child bias family-friendly policies, gender formulation, focus on workplace productivity rather than employee well-being. suggests that current does not take into consideration complex needs diverse situations employed providing for kin.
