摘要: ABSTRACT: A molecular model is developed to explain the viscoelastic behavior of entangled homopolymer blends an arbitrary weight distribution in terminal relaxation regime. This accomplished by analyzing entanglement architecture and dynamics temporary network formed intermeshing species. It assumed that coupling between any two macromolecular components along a single chain random this occurs proportionally fractional participation these same Components blend as whole. The population densities lifetimes various types entanglements among chains similar or dissimilar length are thus calculated related composition corre- sponding properties monodisperse polymeric precursors. These results then utilized derivation simple blending rules for time-dependent modulus, dynamic moduli, viscosity, recoverable compliance dense mixtures. theoretical predictions compared with experimental evidence binary case.
