摘要: Development of long-term implants is challenging due to stringent requirements biocompatibility, necessitating minimal or absent adverse affects during the period active utilization and thereafter. Implants designed for load-bearing applications must integrate with host tissue create a stable environment. For instance, improvements that allow better hip implant integration surrounding bone will prevent loosening greatly improve quality patient life. Use significantly reduces number operative procedures while drug-delivery techniques has tremendous potential outcomes. Drug-delivery have been utilized contraception in form dermal-patches, vaginal rings, intrauterine devices; all which can be applied removed by thus minimizing medical appointments. This chapter discuss treatment diabetes contraception, from fracture healing chemotherapy are commercially available, new strategies being explored.
